All formed sheet metal parts will undergo professional surface treatment, an important post-process for sheet metal parts. It not only improves the anti-rust, anti-corrosion, anti-oxidation and wear resistance of products and prolongs their service life, but also optimizes the product appearance to meet the aesthetic and assembly requirements of different application scenarios. We provide a full set of mature and stable sheet metal surface treatment technologies with customized solutions as required. The mainstream treatment technologies are as follows:
Pickling and Phosphating
A core pre-treatment process for sheet metal parts, removing oil stains, rust and oxide layers on the sheet surface to form a uniform phosphating film, which serves as a primer for subsequent spraying and powder coating, improving coating adhesion and preventing paint peeling and powder falling.
Electrostatic Powder Coating
The most mainstream surface treatment method for sheet metal parts. Various colors of powder can be sprayed with uniform and thick coating, strong adhesion, scratch and corrosion resistance, no pungent odor and compliance with environmental standards, applicable to various industrial sheet metal parts.
Electrostatic Spray Painting
Able to spray paint finishes with different textures such as high gloss, matte and frosted with a high degree of color customization and delicate smooth paint surface, suitable for sheet metal parts with high appearance requirements.
Galvanizing / Color Zinc Plating / White Zinc Plating
Electrochemical galvanizing treatment forms a zinc layer on the surface of sheet metal parts with super anti-rust performance, suitable for sheet metal parts used in humid, outdoor and other corrosive scenarios. Color zinc plating has both anti-rust and aesthetic properties, while white zinc plating features a delicate texture.
Anodizing
Mainly applied to aluminum alloy sheet metal parts, forming a hard oxide film after oxidation with anti-rust and wear resistance. Various oxidation colors such as natural color, black and gold are available with a premium texture.
Wire Drawing & Polishing
For stainless steel and aluminum alloy sheet metal parts, surface scratches are removed by wire drawing and polishing to form wire drawing texture or mirror effect, enhancing the metallic texture and aesthetic appearance of products.
Sandblasting
The sheet metal surface is polished by high-pressure sand flow to form a matte frosted texture, removing burrs and surface defects, enhancing coating adhesion and also available as an independent surface finish.
We receive customers' sheet metal processing requirements including drawings (2D/3D), samples, material requirements, process requirements, quantity and delivery date. Our technical team verifies drawing parameters, conducts process review and cost accounting, confirms the final processing plan with customers, and issues processing quotation and production cycle.
According to the confirmed plan, we carefully select qualified sheet raw materials (carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum alloy, etc.). After raw materials arrive at the factory, material inspection, thickness inspection and surface quality inspection are carried out to ensure that the raw materials meet customer requirements and can only be put into storage after passing the inspection, strictly controlling quality from the source.
Precise blanking is completed by laser cutting, CNC punch press, shearing machine and other equipment according to drawing dimensions; then the forming processing of sheet metal parts is finished by CNC bending, profiling, rolling, stretching and other processes; welding, riveting, tapping and other connection processes are completed as required. All processes are operated by professional technicians with dimensional accuracy verified throughout the process.
Formed sheet metal parts are first subjected to fine processing such as deburring, grinding and chamfering, then surface treatment such as pickling and phosphating, powder coating, spray painting, galvanizing and anodizing is carried out according to customer requirements to ensure up-to-standard surface effect and compliance with anti-rust and anti-corrosion performance standards.
We adhere to the quality inspection principle of "No unqualified products delivered from the factory", which is the core link to ensure product quality. After all processing is completed, finished sheet metal parts go through multiple quality inspection procedures and can only be put into storage after passing comprehensive inspection:
Calipers, micrometers, projectors, coordinate measuring machines and other equipment are used to verify all dimensional parameters of sheet metal parts including length, width, height, hole diameter, bending angle and radian to ensure consistency with drawings and control precision errors within the allowable range.
Check whether there are scratches, deformation, paint peeling, weld defects, burrs and other problems on the surface of sheet metal parts, and whether the surface treatment effect is uniform and up to standard.
Tensile and load-bearing tests are conducted on welded and riveted parts to ensure firm connection; compression and anti-deformation tests are carried out on formed parts to ensure up-to-standard structural strength.
Random sampling inspection of raw material quality is conducted to ensure that the materials are consistent with customer requirements without material substitution.
Qualified sheet metal parts after inspection are packaged with professional customized solutions according to product materials and transportation methods: rust-proof paper wrapping pearl cotton protection foam filling reinforced carton/wooden box packaging. This effectively prevents collision, scratch and rust during transportation, perfectly adapting to the long-distance transportation needs of cross-border sea and air freight. With mature foreign trade shipment procedures, we can provide multiple shipping methods including sea freight, air freight and international courier according to customer requirements, assist with customs declaration and clearance procedures, and ensure that products are delivered to the designated port/address of customers on time and safely.
